UPDATES 2008-05-09¬13:45:27-0600
2008-04-25 21:34:27 MDT
Mailboxes re-enabled
The mailboxes offline earlier this evening have been re-enabled. No email has been lost -- but delays continue. The overall quantity of pending messages is much lower than it was four hours ago, and deliveries are proceeding rapidly. In other words, we're catching up.
We will continue to monitor the situation and address any additional stoppages.

Some mailboxes temporarily unavailable
As we continue to work on this email issue, some mailboxes may become temporarily unavailable as we reconfigure systems and debug the matter.

Mailboxes temporarily unavailable
Another mailbox storage server requires rebooting -- mailboxes will therefore be unavailable for a few minutes as we continue to debug this issue.
2008-04-25 14:55:31 MDT
Mail delivery intermittently proceeding
Thousands of messages were delivered in the last hour, but delivery has slowed again now. We are continuing to work on the issue.
2008-04-25 14:53:17 MDT
Mail delivery resumed
Messages are being delivered rapidly now, at least for the time being. The backlog of pending deliveries is significant, and so it may be some time before all delayed messages arrive.

Mail delivery status update
Engineers are rebooting back-end servers that store mailboxes -- this could cause error messages when retrieving mail via Outlook/Thunderbird/webmail.
We believe this measure will begin the acceleration of deliveries and will post another update within the hour.
2008-04-25 10:10:21 MDT
Mail deliveries suspended
We are currently working on an issue that is causing email destined for the shared system to be delayed.
This is affecting webmail as well. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
2008-04-25 07:48:23 MDT
Intermittent Webmail/IMAP issues
We are currently experiencing intermittent webmail and IMAP errors causing messages such as 'connection dropped'. We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
UPDATE: This situation is resolved now.

Email delivery delays possible
On the Yellowpipe shared system, we are currently investigating the cause of email delivery delays to local mailboxes.
UPDATE: This is resolved.
